(Solved) How to Remove Wordpress Search Form?
Installed on my Wordpress site Buddypress. You need to remove the default search form from the Members page (because it will only confuse visitors).
What I did:
1. I searched for get_search_form () through Total Commander, deleted from all found files (if there were no changes on the page I needed, I returned the original text) and in general, did everything that is described here otvety.google.ru/otvety/thread?tid= 7dd90938a48faf1b
2. I
tried to get to the bottom through LiveStyle in chrome as here habrahabr.ru/post/189748 , but as far as I understood, for this you need to know the path to the file (?).
3. I tried to do something through Firebug, but I probably shouldn't write about it.
Now I don’t know what mistakes I made, where to dig further and ask for help.
SOLUTION: "hide with style, i.e.
#buddypress div.dir-search{display: none;}
put in theme's style.css file"
