Solution for "chess" scrolling?
Imagine a chessboard. It has horizontal and vertical stripes that intersect at right angles. The effect that needs to be achieved on JS (without canvas): any of the cells of the board can be pulled along any axis and the corresponding line on which it is located “scrolls” behind it (if you drag the cell left-right, the horizontal line shifts; similarly for vertical).
In the question , I do not expect a complete solution , the question is more about thoughts on how this can be implemented.
Perhaps someone in the bins will find their own codepen's goodies, libraries, examples of other people's solutions, etc., which somehow fit my task.
