Lossless is tricky, as the order of selectors in CSS sometimes matters, as long as they have the same specificity. After all, the minifier does not see the HTML code and does not know how much your selectors intersect with each other. Here it is only safe to combine only those that go directly after each other, but this very rarely happens in life.
