Slow FreeBSD installation under ESXI. Why?

Esxi 5.5. Loaded from a flash drive.
Server G7 ml110.
A regular sata 3.5" 7200 250GB disk.

With default settings (1GB, 2 cores), I run the FreeBSD installation, as a result, copying no more than 40 files / sec.
And this despite the fact that from the same flash drive, with the same settings, only on Celeron, though with another hdd, but also sata 7200 at least 300 files / sec.
It's been almost an hour to install a frya. It
doesn't matter where (virtual sd, remote folder), it still doesn't rise more than 100 files / sec.

I understand that the problem is in the esxi settings. But where?

paravirtual controller will be faster...
In general, do you have a thread running on your hypervisor? It looks like just the disk system slows down

@Diman89

change provisioning + controller (if installed tools are not needed for it)

And on the Performance tab, did you try to look at what the performance of this virtual machine rests on?

Didn't find what you were looking for?
