Site navigation in display: none - will it affect SEO?

Hello.
The navigation menu on our site is located in a block with display: none
This is not some kind of "black hat optimization" or "shadow SEO", but simply for the convenience of users, by default the menu is hidden on each page. Will it affect the ranking of the site?
I just tried to google this topic, and everywhere they write that important links cannot be hidden.

100% accurate no one will answer.
I work for a digital agency and we didn't notice a correlation between hidden and non-hidden menus when done as part of the interface. In any case, the robot walks through the markup and sees these elements in the layout.
More influenced behavioral in this case.
It's funny that you asked this, because. There was a discussion about this last week

I guess what you mean by the question "will there be sanctions for this?". No, it will not. This is an old story, which is more than 7 years old, when sites were banned for using keys on the site that were not displayed to the user, the "Cloaking" filter.
If, in essence, "will it affect SEO?" Most likely it will affect, but in plus or minus - xs, Andrey Glazachev said correctly.
