SIP and H.323 are the main differences in VoIP, pluses and minuses, where and who is used?
Guys just started to analyze this topic, tell me what's the difference? If their purpose is the same.
H.323 message format is binary - complex. Uses H.225.0,RAS,H.245 - means more packets?
SIP message format - ASCI - is simpler. Sip uses only SDP - so fewer packets?
What else?
Somewhere else I saw that H.323 is more intended for communication providers other than VIP, why?

yes, for the most part, the difference is not that inside
it’s just possible to issue a sip to each user in the domain and he is closer in this respect to mail,
but in x323 there is no such thing at all
