Simultaneous use of 2 monitors connected to the motherboard, is it possible?
Good afternoon!
I decided to buy a desktop computer instead of a laptop. Now the laptop is used with a monitor connected, which allows you to display different applications on the laptop screen and the monitor screen. For example: word is open on one, excel on the other. Those. two desktops, where by clicking on one application "expand to full screen" the application takes up ONE screen completely. Given the inadequate prices for video cards, I wanted to do without it, connecting everything to the motherboard. Is this possible with i5-12500 processor and ASRock B660M Pro RS Socket 1700, Intel B660, 4xDDR4, PCI-E 4.0, 4xUSB 3.2 Gen1, HDMI, DisplayPort, backlight, mATX motherboard? Will it be enough to connect 2 monitors to the motherboard (one to HDMI, one to DP) or do you need to dance with a tambourine to make everything work in two desktop mode?
Thanks for the answer!!!
