Simultaneous android + ios development?

At the moment, I have been developing for android for quite a long time and began to look closely at ios. The essence of the question: how do freelance customers react if one person is going to write for both platforms at the same time? Will the cost of an hour of work depend on this? Does anyone have similar experience? It is especially interesting whether the project will be given if there is a lot of experience in developing for android, but there are no real orders for ios yet? Does it make sense to make some free projects specifically for iOS?

Development for two main mobile operating systems is a big plus.
