Simulating user activity?

Hello. Maybe they can help me here.
I wanted to quickly write code in delphi that would force the PC NOT to go to sleep after 3 minutes.
The situation is as follows, I raise the cursor 1 pixel up every second. I thought this was enough for windows to perceive these actions as user actions, and would not go into sleep mode ... But it was not there!
Windows was blocked after 3 minutes, and continues to be blocked .... The
question is, how can you cheat the system?
ps
I perfectly understand that this mode can be disabled in the settings, or through the registry. I'm just myself, it's very interesting to succeed in imitation work ...
