Simple electronic signature: confirmed with SMS, and then what?

For the past few days I have been surfing the Internet in search of an understanding of the principle of operation of a simple electronic signature.
In general, the scheme is clear: we send an SMS to a person with a password, he tells it to the employee, thereby confirming that the document is signed by him. (yes, yes, I know about the need for an agreement on the use of EDS)

I do not understand what happens next. I understand that the time of signing, the password from SMS, etc. are stored in the database. But what about the contract itself? If we do not need to print this agreement, we do not need to look at it somehow, then what to do with it? Generate a PDF, put a stamp on it with a key from SMS and store it? Or what to do with it?

A little about the purpose of the system. We conclude an equipment rental agreement, we just get rid of excess paper. The terms of the contract will be displayed on the screen and a proposal to enter a password from SMS in order to confirm agreement with these conditions.

It has nothing to do with EPC. You seem to be confusing two-factor authentication.

logically, it’s enough for you to store PDF and sms in the email database,
but I’m not a lawyer
