Similar to the @RunWith annotation for TestNG?

I want to do something of my own before (and after) each test object, before (and after) each test method. Moreover, without affecting the tests and having access to the full context of what is happening.

In Junit, this can be achieved by defining a custom Runner.

And in TestNG?
