Maybe someone has come across and will tell you how to solve this issue. When installing software with a silent installation key, an alert pops up that it is not clear how to cancel. If you click "OK", the silent installation continues and the software is installed.
The bottom line is that it is necessary that nothing crashes during installation, maybe I don’t know some additional keys?

If the installer itself does not know how to remove (update) previous versions, then do it for him. What's stopping you from checking if the previous version is already installed and also silently uninstalling it.
Run the installer with /? - maybe it has a help page.
If not, look for the installer keys in the documentation or on the manufacturer's website, maybe on the developer forum, etc.
