Silent installation of software in a corporate network and how to organize it?
Good afternoon! I ask for your help for a novice system administrator. The fact is that at a new workplace I was faced with the task of updating the software and also installing it. I would like to centralize software updates in the corporate network using a silent installation, as it is very convenient for both the system administrator and the user segment. What we have: A fleet of over 500 user machines. These are branches and the central office. Everything runs on Windows. I couldn't find anything suitable by googling and watching YouTube videos. I want to describe the situation in more detail, in order to get more useful information. We have a central office and 6 branches and different subnets. Working at a previous job was the head. I was a specialist in the IT department and watched how DRIT implemented a silent installation and the project was successfully implemented and the branches breathed a sigh of relief as they greatly unloaded the work. Help me please! Who faced or took part or actively uses such a solution or there is an alternative, oh yes, as usual, we love it Fast, Qualitatively, and even yesterday, and most importantly, for free. Will it be a batch file or any other option, please feel free to offer advice or correct me. I am a new user on Habré and I am writing an article for the first time, I read a lot of articles and visited regularly. I also read articles on Silent Installation, but either I didn’t understand something or it doesn’t quite suit me. I have no experience in writing scripts and bat files, so everything seems complicated. I saw the source codes and batch files themselves and even tried to read the code, but understanding is completely absent, but I have a mad desire to learn all this. Who can share advice, experience or code, and possibly literature or something else, please do not pass by, because for me it is very important, but for you it is probably not difficult. Thank you all very much.
May the force be with you.

Welcome to Midsize IT!
A standard task that is solved through group policy. It configures autorun of the necessary installers - it's good when they are in msi format.
The option that I use is to install puppet through group policy, then everything else is installed through it.
