Should you use Sphinx for a small site?

1. There is a small site with goods (about 500).
2. For each product, there is a set of tags that describe it.
3. Attendance of the site - several hundred people per day. The number of search requests is not yet known.
Search task: taking into account morphology, provide links to the most relevant products in response to a user request. The search is carried out only in the tags table.
The questions are:
1. What should be the form of the tags (single word, phrase or something else) and what will be implied by Sphinx's relevance?
2. Is it reasonable to use Sphinx for this task? If yes (no), why?
