I write with Nexus 7 - a great thing. Whether 3G is needed is everyone's business, but I don't need it. Wi-Fi is available almost everywhere and I rarely need a tablet with the Internet on the street, all the more a smartphone helps out. In extreme cases, from the same smartphone I distribute the Internet if necessary, and you pay once.
I read a lot on it, including PDF - it's convenient, although there is an elink reader.
I read RSS offline.
16 GB is more than for me personally - I don’t listen to music on a tablet, but 5-10 movies will fit in quietly.
