Should individual posts be indexed?
Good day!
The site has a forum. Example topic URL: "site/forum/thread/1490/".
Each post of any topic can be viewed as a separate post (separate page). Single post URL example: "site/forum/thread/1490/view_2341/".
The question is, what is the best thing to do: allow indexing of individual messages or is it better to prohibit (robots.txt: "*/view_*")?
"Better" - I mean promotions.
Thank you.

I would forbid, I will explain why:
1. Indexing such messages individually will create a lot of pages on the site (maybe millions), but that's okay, there are sites with millions of pages in search engines
2. Imagine that a user goes from a search to such a page? What does he see? The message is taken out of context, without a history of correspondence. This is the answer to his question, is it a positive user experience for him? (if yes, then you can leave)
