Should I write a calculator with camera text recognition?
Hello! I had an idea to write a mobile application, more precisely a calculator with recognition of mathematical symbols from the phone's camera, i.e. a person will photograph any mathematical problem on paper (identity, equation, inequalities, etc.) and the program will convert it all into text and solve accordingly.
The question is, is it worth spending time on it, and is there a chance to sell it?

See what it can do.
There are such scripted calculators, that is, you write with your finger, it recognizes and counts. Equally you put - it gives out the answer. Well, it's different. The ability to recognize (and erasing all this is not so convenient) and the number of characters are severely lacking.
As a result, I use standard engineering.
And so, I think it will come in handy for the student, and the fact that he does the calculations. But about selling, and even more so getting a significant amount - I would not count.
