Should I use Django with GraphQl instead of DjangoREST?

Hello,
During development, there was a suggestion to implement GraphQl instead of REST API. Is it worth it,
what are the solutions for authorization (regular and through third-party services), how to send a picture or other file, how is it in terms of security? I found several articles ( image forwarding , social networking , JWT authentication ), but I would like to know how reliable and convenient these solutions are.
