Should I upgrade to Ubuntu 15.04?

I apologize in advance for the stupid wording of the question, and for the question itself: \
Hello. For about two years I have been sitting on ubuntu and recently the question arose - Is it worth switching to the new release 15.04?
Simply, because of my curvature, I cannot save the system configs normally, and therefore I am afraid of another reinstallation of the OS, some bugs / lags in the system and inconsistencies between programs and the OS itself.
So, those who have already experienced this release, respond. Are there many bugs in general, and what is the performance. And is there any chance that sublime text 2, various cli applications (git, npm, etc), and most importantly PlayOnLinux and Wine itself will work fine?

What you specified will work as before, it’s worth switching over, I’ve been using it since the fall, everything has been working stably for the last month, there were no incidents. Already more than one issue on the toaster was solved by updating 14.04 to 14.10 or 15.04.

As one of the teachers at the university said about Ubuntu: "Everything that is not LTS, in general, into the dustbin of history."

Better yet, use Arch Linux XFCE, a stable system.

No. Only drive on a virtual machine in order to master the system and try other chips. In other words, if there is a desire to be a beta tester and help the community, then there is no problem, but this is not suitable for work. Only LTS releases are suitable for everyday use.
