Should I switch to Manjaro/Arch?
I have been using Ubuntu for 5 years already (there was both ubuntu and mint). There are many different bugs, old repos, program crashes + I wanted something new in my life. I use the system for both programming and just everyday tasks. The question is - how easy will it be to get used to pacman (and everything new that is behind the arch) and how much is it worth it (in terms of time / convenience)? Thanks :)

Oh, think ahead and think well...
Bubunta is a packaged distribution and also "friendly", assuming that the user in the worst case may not know the console at all :)
Arch is a source-based distribution, not just assuming that the user knows the console, and assuming that the user knows the general rules of the linux device, and the boot order and the principle of the initialization system and the principle of the package manager, and how to fix a program that is not put and another hundred thousand millions of different questions that any brave person should know that decides to contact source-based distributions...
The approach is slightly different for arch than for bubunta :) Arch thinks that you really know what you're doing and it's very easy to break the system with an update ;)
Disagree with most of the comments. Breaking arch with an update is very difficult. For almost five years of use, problems after the update arose twice and only related to global changes such as switching to systemd. For all these moments there were mana offsite, incl. The problem was solved in less than a minute. And this is due to the fundamental difference between Arch and Ubuntu in that it is a rolling distribution, i.e. constantly updated.
IMHO, my arch flew a little less often than ubunta (about once every 2 weeks). You get used to it after a week of active use, everything is put very quickly. It takes a month or two to adjust for yourself. Well, plus all the specs are English-speaking (but good), in which case the Runet will not help much.
Of all, I like ElementaryOS the most right now. Simple, stylish, reliable and without a sewn-in Amazon. Never had a problem for almost a year.
