Should I study Bitrix?

After graduating in a small town, he decided to move to a metropolis. I decided to look for a job, so as not to waste time later. Found a pretty good deal. The company develops on Symfony, makes mobile applications, teaches, but also works with Bitrix. At the interview, it was said that first I would have to remove bugs in Bitrix, which does not make me very happy, although I have little experience in development, but I know that Bitrix, in terms of development, is on the way down.
But at the same time, money is needed, and besides, there are prospects for writing in Symfony in the future.
Everyone's opinion is interesting.

you say so, as if you decided to devote your whole life to this and there will no longer be options to change the choice.
look at it as another framework, of which there will be a bunch more in your development career.
and given that you are a beginner, it will still be a valuable experience for you.

know that Bitrix in terms of development, way down

Funny.
Bitrix is the way.
Any way is better than marking time.
With Bitrix for a piece of bread and butter, you are guaranteed to earn money in the coming years.
Well, you can always switch to something else.
If there are no other good options in sight right now, I would agree if I were you. Even the most hated product is worth at least a little poke (I once fought with 1C).

And there are a lot of such stories where those who have worked with Bitrix recommend never starting a career with it.
I would consider this option only as a last resort.

It may not be worth starting a career with Bitrix ... but if you are interested in a decent income and a lot of clients (more than 70% of the country's commercial sites are made on Bitrix) - then study Bitrix (especially since recently the quality of development and technology from Bitrix growing)
