Should I start learning java with the book "Java Philosophy"?
Hello! I want to start learning java from scratch. There is little knowledge of programming (at the institute, I also read a little), but in reality the knowledge is very superficial. I was advised to read "Java Philosophy" first. What is your opinion on this book? Is it outdated, because the language is being updated. Who can share the experience of where to start and how difficult it is? What environment do you recommend? At the moment I use eclipse, but I heard that there are more convenient environments.
Thanks :)

Briefly about this book.
+ A good option to start learning the language: the main aspects are presented beautifully, clearly, correctly.
+ Lots of positive reviews for this book.
+ Interesting presentation language, clear listings, convenient content (in terms of logical statements)
- Already a little outdated, but still has the right to life (despite
the 2015 edition)
