Should I rewrite classes in opencart 2.x for myself?

Good afternoon!
Faced a problem. I completely rewrote the entire layout of opencart 2.1 for myself, and after adding the Simple modules and several others, I wondered if this would become a problem for me later. Do you think it makes sense to do so? Will this be a problem for me later when updating modules or the whole system (although it is unlikely that I will update it)?
I was also suggested to use OCMOD. How will it behave if I need to rewrite a part that was rewritten by another module after it. For example, I have a More tabs module on a product page. This module adds additional code snippets to product.tpl via OCMOD, how can I add my classes to it after the "Additional tabs" module code snippets have been added?

If you had no problems rewriting the layout for yourself, then fixing something after updating the modules should not be a problem.
I usually amend the module's OCMOD itself in this case. To make it more convenient to work with it, I install them not through the admin panel, but put them in the system folder
