Should I meddle in Androyd development as a field of activity?

Hello.
I have been working as a developer on the 1c platform for many years, but lately I have often begun to catch myself thinking that I am tired of it and I want to do something more serious from a practical point of view.
I live in a province where, apart from 1c, there is nothing on the IT job market.
In general, the topic of development is very interesting to me and the desire to become a developer for android is very big.
BUT immediately there is a lot of BUT!
-Work (where and how to look for it after study and practice?)
-Provincial city of residence (how to be in this regard? Will it be possible to get a remote job as a junior?) Of course, moving to another city is also likely and there are even thoughts on immigration from the Russian Federation, but for now it's just a thought.
I ask for your sober advice regarding my reasoning

Don't try, you won't know.
Usually they look for
anril on freelance sites, in the provinces they want to eat fish and you yourself know what not to ride.
If English is good, try yes at least on upwork

I am from the province, from the deepest province, you won’t even earn much in 1C, with salaries everything is very bad in IT. For almost 5 years in android development, I started with upwork, since I had a big background as a programmer by that time, I trained a little and forward, I made my way with a colleague, he is good with English, I have development, the first orders were taken almost for free, for rate, slowly crawled out, the salary has become two times more than in our region on average, now they have left the upwork, I'm tired of this mode of work, my projects began to generate income and went to the bank, now they are completely self-sufficient, so to speak. I have experience in the office (7 years), remotely, not upwork, and it’s remote work for a Moscow company, oracle there and all that (4 years), and now it’s almost 5 years old android.
Of course, the risks of independent work are higher, you risk not getting a "salary" at all. I remember Apvor as a nightmare, this is a very aggressive environment where there is no place for beginners, they can throw, a muddy harmful customer can get caught, we seem to be lucky, now there are regular customers who, according to the residual, ask for something to be corrected, finalized, but in general, an upwork for me This is history and I won't go back.
As for me, the easiest option is to gain experience on your own, while working at an old job, then try to interview remotely. Well, or as I said above, do something of your own. Draw your own conclusions, good luck.

Development for Android can be very profitable if you find a customer who will buy applications - for example, cafes or restaurants, delivery services, and so on. Or you can develop some kind of entertainment application yourself, but here you will have to spend money on advertising so that potential users can find out about it.
