Should I Learn Amazon AWS?

I want to start learning app development for Android and iOS. Googling on this, I came across an Amazon AWS service. A lot of interesting things are written there - integration for business, virtual reality, Analytics, Application integration, etc.
Is this service worth it? Can it reduce application development time and is it worth learning and using? Maybe some parts of it?
As I understand it, the minus is the dependence on Amazon AWS.
And I didn’t quite understand, if you write an application using Amazon AWS, can it be added to AppStrore and the Play Store? Because, as I understand it, Amazon has its own application repository.

AWS provides ample opportunity to build a scalable infrastructure on which applications will run. AWS will not write the application logic, you need to do it yourself.
To teach or not to teach - you need to decide for yourself.
