Should I go to courses from GeekBrains?

Good afternoon. I would like to know your opinion about the various courses and whether it is worth taking them.
The fact is that I have been studying python for about a year, before that I also studied c # for about a year. I know html and css, and I don't know what to choose. The bottom line is that I'm very interested in learning different libraries, language features and how it all works. For example, I recently wrote a discord bot. I am currently in 11th grade. I'm going to get a higher education only in order to get an opportunity to get a work visa to America faster. The problem is that during the training I am going to work, but at the moment I don’t understand how development works in companies at all and it’s very difficult for me to evaluate my skills. That's why I think it might be worth taking a tutorial from geekbrains. I would like to know your opinion, is it worth it? Tk. I spend a lot of time on self-study: ≈ 45 hours (I can’t get more because of my studies, preparation for the exam). And this is interesting to me, but there is a feeling that I get a lot of information that is not useful. And this happens because I still don’t understand what kind of developer I want to become, because I like the process itself. I apologize if I gave too much information. Job thanks for the replies.

Might be worth taking a tutorial from geekbrains

Training for what exactly?
Tk. I spend quite a lot of time on self-study: ≈ 45 hours

Geekbrains will not put knowledge into his head for money, in any case, you will have to spend time and effort on studying.
I think the topic has already been chewed many times. All information on JAP can be found on the Internet now. Courses essentially just offer a structured learning program, although exactly the same knowledge can be found on the net freely. Pay money to "motivate" yourself to study - the idea is so-so, as I understand it, you like self-study, so why? After choosing some specialization you like, you can already think about courses, although it is also doubtful.
I still don’t understand what kind of developer I want to become, because I like the process itself

Many even at 30 do not understand what they want until you try it yourself - you will never understand. It is better to try to implement something on your own. Like the same discord bot from the post. Maybe you will like to make bots, or maybe ML will come in, or Data-Science. You just have to poke your hands to see which one you like best. Well, you need to understand that some things are more suitable for hobbies / freelance, and for a full-time job, you will need skills in a different direction.
I read quite a lot of resources in my field, I have seen many courses and lessons, and the essence of them is almost the same everywhere. Each course from the same udemy (yes, this is not a geekbrain, but suitable for understanding) is just public information that is known to everyone and easily googled.
Well, if you still want to - I think you can take some kind of test lesson, they give? There is some kind of demo cabinet or something like that. You can look at the course program to understand what will be there. Well, given that we are on the Internet, of course, you can find all the courses in the public domain. Maybe not 2021/2020, but for understanding what will happen there - I think you can look. And there, if you want to, then sign up officially.
at the moment I don’t understand at all how development works in companies

There should be offices in the city that take in students. Until graduation, I don’t think that someone will take it, but in the 2nd-3rd year they should already be free to recruit. Courses will not provide knowledge about how everything works in companies, you need to go and work in essence.

I wish I could use the search. This question has been asked hundreds of times here.

In the US, a work visa does not require a mandatory tower. But employers require senior experience. So if the diploma is only for migration, then you are wasting your time.

No, it's not worth it.

Now I am studying at the YaP, though not for a developer, but for an analyst. Before that, I tried it for a couple of months. I can say that the training is much more intensive on the course than on my own. But here it probably depends on the person. If the speed of learning does not play a role, then you can learn on your own.
