Should I go into 3D modeling in 2020?
I tried to study programming, but somehow this area does not catch me, although I understand that it is easier to find a job there. Since school I liked drawing, geometry. But I don’t have any kind of education, such as architecture, art. I’m interested in the opinion of people who work in the field of 3D, is it worth going into 3D modeling, what is the current situation on the labor market in this area?

The joke is that most successful freelancers in any field have average or poor grades in subjects related to their current activity. So saying something like "I don't have <some> education" doesn't make any sense. Actually, doing something that is not interesting also does not make sense.
3D has many branches, from a 3D visualizer to a Game Designer (if I'm not mistaken with the name of the profession). You can see the situation on the labor market yourself without any smart uncles from the profession by going to a site like HeadHunter. If you have an incentive to do something, then you should do it.
HeadHunter currently has 5000+ vacancies related to 3D.
Once, a friend of mine, who has had his own business for a long time, said: "There is enough work for everyone, and if you cannot find it, then you are either looking badly, or you don't need a job." I think that's how it is.
I have always respected those who make high-quality and beautiful 3D worlds that are as similar to the real world as possible.
And they are made by level designers and 3D modelers.
It depends on them: how much the quality product will be.
And now it's VR.
So - tear off with your hands!
I liked the Fusion 360 course on Stepika
. There
is a demand for designers now (building automation).
