Should I choose magento for marketplace development?

Can anyone advise on Magento , preferably on Skype? (Skype: kvkolesnikoff) Choosing
a solution and a contractor for the implementation of the project, similar to www.beepi.com in Europe.
Considered a variant on python (django)
I would like to understand if there are advantages to using magento?

It all depends on the architecture of such a system and caching the results of queries to the database.

Your project bears little resemblance to an online store, so I would really think before using Magento for this purpose. Is it possible to implement this project on Magento? but with the same success, you can take any other CMS. I would probably not use CMS at all, but would implement it based on some Kohana, Yii or Zend framework.
