Sharding in MongoDB. Add a server to an existing one

There is a working mongodb server.
There is a second server with unused mongodb.

How to make sure that both servers are in a shard and several collections share data across servers?

I read manuals for creating balls in mongodb, but I still didn’t understand how to do it on a production server.
