SFTP without downloading all files from server?

I connect to the server via SFTP, and it starts downloading absolutely all the files that are there. How to connect without downloading all files?

reach this stage
- select the directory that should be the root for the project
- press the Project Root
button - select the directories that need to be excluded
- press the Excluded from Download
button what is green - will be downloaded from the server
