Setting up OPENVPN in an organization?
Good afternoon! I work in a small company where it costs itself a server and spins 1c on MS sql 2008 and a file server on Windows 2008, well, maybe we’ll come up with something else. They ask you to set up remote access to the server. Decided to use OpenVPN. Ten people will work. There is a static ip.
Actually a question - how it is better to configure VPN?! Deploy a separate virtual server on Hyper-v or not bother with it and do everything under one Windows?

It is possible and under Windows. But historically, OpenVPN has done best on *NIX. Be it Linux or FreeBSD.
So if possible, it is better to use a virtual machine.
If there is an opportunity and an extra key to the Windows server, then you can set up a VPN on it, there is plenty of information on the Internet.
