Setting permissions for virtual server on XAMPP-VM Mac OS?

Dear forum users, I just recently switched from win to mac and have been trying for two days to set up access rights to a working project so that Wordpress does not give out that it is impossible to create a directory when you update its packages. On Windows, there were no issues at all. Here I couldn't set the permissions to 755/644 as it didn't help with the problem above. I tried to change the access to the project folder through the command in the console: sudo chmod -R 7xx/6xx, but the permissions did not change, as it was reported for each file that the access was restricted. I tried to change them through the folder properties, but here I only managed to give full rights to everyone and apply to all nested files. For some reason, the system does not allow adding the Admin User via [+]. I choose, but it does not appear in the list of users. Apparently this does not work for virtual servers. I also tried to execute the sudo chown admin:daemon htdocs command, but access is denied. In the httpd.conf file, I changed the User daemon to admin and root, but Apache did not start, cursed at the wrong username AND the server did not reboot. Basically a dead end. I already began to think that the whole thing could be in the SIP protection system. Help with advice, where to dig, how to allow changing access rights on a virtual server?
