Setting IP in HP Smart?

The HP Smart app lets you scan and print to your MFP over Wi-Fi. However, the application itself looks for the printer and records its IP address. And where and how to specify the IP yourself in HPSmart? Suppose the MFP is on a different subnet, but routing is configured between them. Or the printer is on the Internet and you need to connect to it via WAN IP via 4g. How to do this?
