Service for marking visited places?

Here I thought about the fact that I remember little where I was, and where I was not in this or that city. Which places have you visited and which have you not yet visited? And coupled with the fact that the gps navigator is constantly in my hands and I see marks about the route traveled, I wondered if there was a service that would mark where I was and where I had not yet been.
For example, I turned on Google maps on my phone, walked, walked, the route was recorded and the “fog of war” dissipated. So I would know what places I have already visited, which ones should be visited ...
A cool application would be some kind of symbian, or some kind of service ...
Tell me please?

not really about the fog of war, but about the marking of places: altergeo.ru, foursquare.com.

iGo seems to be able to record the route. Only something they have on the site only for the iPhone left the application.
Yes, in general, many navigation programs. Not ice?
