Server for a small organization (5-15 people)?
Hello, I need a "server" for organizing 5-15 people, the budget is 52,000 rubles.
It will include: domain, hosting, mail, scada and surveillance cameras (I will need to connect the last 2 from another city, possibly from another country) + household office tasks.
The fact is that I am a web developer, I encounter administration for the first time, i.e. in this matter I am a complete layman, I only know that the server is a powerful computer :) I am
grateful for any help or advice on building the server.

Well, if the budget is very limited, as in your case, then you can choose a more powerful server for your tasks on Avito. Buy disks.
Deploy virtualization, either VMWare or Hyper-V. You can, of course, ProxMox, but why do you need such hemorrhoids? especially if you are not a system administrator and work in the GUI, then install Hyper-V.
There, deploy the required number of virtual machines, for the necessary tasks, and you will be happy.
For example. I have 3 Hyper-V servers running a large number of virtual machines for clients. All are isolated from each other by VLANs. Mikrotik CHR is raised on the 4th server and it resolves all traffic.
And for video surveillance, buy a better DVR, it costs 4-6 thousand.
Well, or for your needs, you can rent a VPS for each of the tasks or rent a physical server.
I can rent virtual servers to you on any operating system, if you are interested.
The only adequate help here is to drop this idea
. Cramming a bunch of services onto one single cheap piece of hardware, without experience in these services, and even getting an adequate amount of hemorrhoids with support after that, is an unrealistic task.
Rent a virtual server for hosting and buy a video recorder. Cheaper, easier, and more reliable.
Oh, contact your system administrator. It won’t end in anything good, you also have to set up, and replicate-reserve all this, so that when the server comes up for 52 thousand, you won’t be hung up by bells. If the above is not your Wishlist for the sake of development, but the requirements of a business customer, it’s better not to get involved at all. The customer in this case is inadequate, be in trouble.
Not a rational task, it is better to find a normal host and use its services. You are tormented, you need an amount many times more. Try xelent to fit your requirements and find out how much it will be in perspective for 3 years. Meanwhile, prepare a budget for the server

Immediately budget for disk replacement (very desirable)
If I were you, I would stupidly refuse such a task.
The server is not just a powerful piece of iron. The server is a solution to a complex of problems. For example:
- Your server's hard drive has failed. How to ensure that the work of users is not interrupted?
- Masha from the accounting department asks to retrieve the data for October last year from the backup copy, which, well, very urgently need to be given to the tax office. How to solve such a question?
- in the building often and for a long time cut down electricity. How to ensure a graceful shutdown of the server?
All these questions will have to be thrown onto someone - and I even know who ...
Making a server for a low budget is dangerous, this is not the case where you need to save! Find a good hosting, read reviews, rent a virtual machine
