Server for 1C on a regular PC - what to look for?
For a small (maximum 10 people at the same time) company, you need your own server for 1C and everything connected with it (including a web server for the 1C REST API). The option of installing a server in a regular PC case, just in the office, is being considered - because you don’t want to pay ~ 30 tr per year just for colocation.
Theoretically, the server will work for ~18 hours a day, that is, not around the clock. And if, for example, the server suddenly turns off for an hour or two, this is not very scary.
The question arises, which components to choose: a regular (gaming) processor and mother (like the Ryzen 7 3700X), or still professional ones, like the Ryzen Threadripper 1920X? Are professional components much more reliable than ordinary home ones?
What else to pay attention to when assembling and operating such a "server"?

For a maximum of 10 people in a small desk, a desktop self-collection will be enough.
The only thing is:
1. The percent is better with fewer cores, but the frequency is higher, and for some reason 1C likes Intel more
2. SSD - here is only the Pro version with normal read speed and response, but better 2 (1 for the system, 1 for the base)
3. Well, according to the classics, which WD RED for lunch backup
I would not advise turning off / on the server - that's why they burn out. Let it spin around the clock, if it is permissible.
