Server base?
Good day everyone!
There is not a big project, the essence of the project on a droid tablet, the user makes some assessments in his opinion, after these assessments are finally displayed on the same tablet in the form of graphs.
I want to make it so that there would be some kind of portable server with an access point (router) connected to it and a printer to it, and at the end it would be possible to print all these graphs on the printer.
But now the problem has arisen, I will remake the application as a client server and that they would be sent to my server and processed there, but I can’t understand what to write it on, because I can’t decide what kind of mini server I will have and process it.
Who can advise what?

The server is really needed "small" in performance. I would take some old piece of iron. And if the budget allows, then some kind of mini-computer (single-board), there are many different ones now. And Linux there.
On what to write the server part, it does not really matter, at least in PHP (I'm serious). The main thing is that the client and server understand each other through sockets. Well, printing from the console is also not a problem.
Cubieboard 3/Cubietruck (~$100) where WiFi is immediately on board + a full-fledged Linux is installed and you can hook a printer to it.
