Send email via SMTP using SSL?

I use boost::asio to send mail via regular SMTP - there are examples on the net and everything works. And I can’t figure out how to send mail with TLS / SSL. Specifically, I'm trying to send a letter through Google.

Hello, there is a great example of sending SMTP using SSL via openssl - maybe it will help - if boost:asio is not so critical
