Select smartphone: Highscreen Cosmo vs LG Optimus One?

There was a need to buy a new phone, I decided that it would be a smartphone.
Previously, I used only ordinary phones (SE K300i, G502), so there is almost no knowledge about smartphones.
After reading all sorts of articles, I decided that let it be Android.
The budget is about 8 kilorubles.
Requirements: calls, email, web, stability, maybe something else I don't know about yet.
There is no time to constantly test different firmware, rebuild kernels and perform other suspicious manipulations. But I want to use the phone without freezes, bugs and brakes, and be able to install all sorts of programs from the Android Market (I like the idea of distributing software not on a bunch of sites, but in a central repository with a simple installation).
read itand got a couple of leaders at the same price (just 8k): Highscreen Cosmo (Russian manufacturer?!) and LG Optimus One .
I read forums and am horrified at how many problems and crutches people have: 100% CPU usage when you click on the screen, the inability to receive a call with active GPRS, the need to install all sorts of task killers so that the system does not slow down and the battery does not run out in half a day.
Someone writes that OS modifications from the phone manufacturer are good, someone writes that there are a lot of unnecessary non-removable applications in the firmware from the manufacturer that waste resources.
Somewhere they write that after buying the device, you must definitely root / install custom firmware, somewhere they advise you to leave the standard one.
It feels like working with a smartphone is more difficult than with a computer.
Can't you just buy and use? Without reading forums, mans, tracking bugs, firmware updates, etc.
Actually, I would like to receive some parting words and help in choosing.
UPD: bought LG Optimus One. While satisfied. Only standard software is annoying, such as RBC, VKontakte, etc., but I'm not in a hurry to root it to demolish it.

Smartphones are sold to normal people who just need to use them. Dancing with tambourines, firmware, and other task killers are the lot of a few fans. It's just that you have been sitting on their forums, and it seems to you that everyone is only doing what they get root access, change the firmware three times a day, and overclock the processor to get two extra fps in their favorite game. Two million LG Optimus Ones were sold in two months - do you think all two million people are qualified enough to practice shamanism?
"Tracking for bugs" is generally something paradoxical. A normal bug manifests itself; if it is not visible, nothing is broken - why fix it?
I have an Optimus One made in November 2010. With stock firmware and no advanced task killers. According to the forums, it should have tons of dust under the screen, brakes when pressed, and a lifetime of barely half a day. And I'm fine - maybe I'm doing something wrong ...

Um, for starters, do not forget that both smart people and idiots write on the forums. You should not trust them 100%, as far as I know, the bug with the screen was removed in the ski. You can remove any program by naming root. I’m sitting quite comfortably on the factory firmware (I have an optimus ski of the previous model) The fact that there are hawala programs is not so important.
I bought a smartphone and I use it, I did not buy Lego, and I feel fine.
Highscreen Cosmo - and I don’t even know what it is =) I wouldn’t take it, not because it’s bad, but because I’m just another stereotypical person, and I believe in brands.

I will share my experience. I have an LG Optimus (GT 540, not One). I bought recently, also the first smartphone, I chose it as the cheapest of Android backgrounds. I didn’t reflash, there were almost no problems with it, but still I spent a little time on preliminary configuration.
Firstly, it is still desirable to install AdvancedTaskKiller, but it is not difficult either. The smartphone is quite usable, but:
- yes, pre-installed LG applications infuriated. For half an hour - the phone still rutted, removed the excess.
- some games slowed down a little when the Internet was on (due to advertising). In half an hour, I changed the file /etc/hosts. All ads disappeared, stopped slowing down.
- there was not enough space for applications (Android 1.6, there is no installation on a memory card). For 3 days of digging in the forums, I transferred all the data to the SD card. (I don’t advise you to do this unnecessarily, but you won’t need it, the phones you have chosen already have Android 2)
In general, to summarize ... It was easier with ordinary phones. The smartphone needs a little more attention. Budget smartphones, I think, require some finishing. I don't regret my choice.
As for advice on what to choose for you ... Well, if objectively, then Optimus One has a better color gamut, and Cosmo has more memory. If you want to install many different applications, perhaps Cosmo is better. Otherwise - just LG Optimus One.

I have Optimus. Satisfied. A large amount of memory allows you not to worry too much about memory consumption.
Android 2.2 - promised 2.3. With rutting hemorrhoids. covered a hole that allows you to do it easily - now you have to fool around with rolling back the firmware, etc. - scored not so necessary.
I recommend in general.

I would do that.
If in Moscow, then on the radio market at Savelovsky Station, I would buy a used iPhone 2G for 7000 rubles or for 10..12 tr. used iPhone 3g.
And no problems with "100% CPU usage" on click, etc. On the contrary, a lot of fun.
Regarding its condition and natural wear and tear. Arrange a refund within a few days. days upon detection of hidden defects. They have a very long lasting battery, my iPhone 2G is >3 years old and I don't see a drop in capacity at all. I drowned mine 2 times in the bath when bathing, but it still worked, it works exactly the same way.
iPhone 3g is of course preferable.

Question on the topic.
Nowhere can I find reliable information on the Cosmo screen. Somewhere they write that there are almost 65 tons of flowers, somewhere 262 tons of flowers. And at the office site and on others that copied the configuration from the official one, this is not indicated.

At brother optimus one He took it for 9000 immediately after NG. He has one problem - what to put?
As a result, they put on an opera (he sits in VKontakte all the time) and a bunch of games. This is where all the settings ended
. Recently I asked what and how. He likes everything, the only “but”: he doesn’t like regular software for writing SMS. They tried to install something from the market for free, but they didn’t like it either. We rolled back to the pants software.
