Segmentation of Logical Volumes (LVM)?

Is there any way to get rid of logical volume segmentation in LVM without repartitioning?
For example, the section / consists of 4 segments.
[email protected] [~]# lvdisplay
- Logical volume - LV Name /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01
VG Name VolGroup00
LV UUID vOMPbA-5xqb-IDgU-o2Tl-xHtv-CvKF-IbzdJ9
