Screen recording software for Linux?

Hello everyone, does anyone know a good program for screen recording on Linux (Ubuntu), with support for setting the parameters of this recording through arguments, and preferably with a choice of screen recording area?

You can try using OBS.
You can definitely set up a profile and a scene in the GUIs and then run it from the console.
Whether it is possible to adjust them through the console I do not know.
