Scopes of FPGA and how do they differ from MK?

Interested in cybernetics, bionics and robotics in general, as well as various technical developments, because self-taught engineer. I want someone to explain in detail how to better understand where it is better to use the MC, and where
is the FPGA

You said everything correctly, FPGA is like a constructor of logical elements, which means it is universal.

On the FPGA, tasks are solved that the microcontroller or processor cannot cope with in terms of speed or the presence of peripherals. FPGA is a much more expensive and time-consuming solution. The main feature of the FPGA is that all processes run in parallel. Solving sequential tasks on FPGAs is more laborious and requires more resources
