Schedule does not work in flask on hosting. Why?

I am writing a telegram bot. I need the bot to check the file every 30 minutes and if a certain action is performed, it sends a message. The bot is running but not sending a message. After digging around, I found that shedule does not work.
I am using PythonAnywhere hosting. FLASK, TelegramBotApi
