Saving settings (options) in WordPress as presets?

For example, there is a form with settings that are stored in the database, how best to save the settings as presets, something like settings-1 and settings-2, etc.? I will be grateful for an example of implementation if there is or maybe there are considerations if someone came across. Thank you!
