SATA mode error when recovering via HDD Regenerator?

Restoring a hard drive with BADs using the DOS version of HDD Regenerator. It starts normally, but randomly after a while writes the error "Switch AHCI mode to IDE" and interrupts the recovery. Sata mode is already set to IDE, I can’t understand what the problem is.
Through Windows, the program works without problems, but I would like to run this business through dos from a USB flash drive and let it thresh for hours

Aren't you embarrassed by the fact that HDD Regenerator is a quackery?

You have added the Data Recovery tag . If you need data from this disk, then stop the process immediately!
HDDRegenerator does not restore anything. All you can do with it is make the situation worse, or finish off the disk completely.
Stories about "special internal algorithms" are nonsense and fairy tales. All such programs do is rape a disk that is already on the verge. That is why in the English-speaking segment of the network it is called nothing more than HDD Degenerator .
