Sane software for Huawei modems

There is a Huawei E1550 modem, unlocked (originally from MTS). The modem is great for everyone, but on Windows I did not find non-terrible software (but on Ubuntu everything is super). Programs from our OpSoSs are full of whistles, they try to pop up everywhere and even show ads. You can, of course, connect simply through "Network Connections", but I'm also interested in USSD, SMS and voice calls (which MTS connection has to do). If there is at least some non-nightmare manager, tell me pliz.

Almost all programs for 3G modems from our OpSoSs are the same shell, just branded.
As an alternative to her, look at this program 3G modem manager (official here http://www.give-all.ru/download-files/1/5/3g-modem-manager-ot-kaponir-a/ )

3G_Modem_Manager is the best I've found for modems. Not sure if it works with all brands of modems. But with my Beeline it's just fine.
