Unfortunately, I am not familiar with frameworks. There is a site on RUBY ON RAILS - I wanted to change styles, found a style file in the root public/assept/42njn....css and accidentally deleted the contents of the file. Returned the contents. But all the styles on the site flew off.
It was necessary to do it through the repository. But I didn't know.
Tell me how can I fix it now?

You need to either start to understand, or find someone who will do it.
