robots.txt not working, what should I do?

Hello, I have developed a website and I had to write raobots.txt for search engines.
I wrote the content 100% correctly, and put public_html in the root
using gpdhost hosting
After adding the file to Robots.txt hosting, it does not give any result. What could it be for?

Have you checked through Yandex? I had the same situation (I accidentally banned all robots from indexing
