Roadmap of learning OpenGL ES 2.0/3.0 with transition to Metal?
The topic of studying OpenGL ES (then Metal) in the context of the iOS environment became interesting.
I did not find good manuals from beginner to advanced in the context of iOS.
I share what I found:
1) https://developer.apple.com/metal/ - everything is fine, but here only Metal and already for those who can in OpenGL, besides cutlets and flies separately - a separate guide, separately a guide with a description of the technology and separate examples, all this is not connected in any way + videos that describe only the benefits, but do not give an understanding.
2) metalbyexample.com - blog + 150+ page book on metal only, with examples. But again, it starts with Metal.
3) www.amazon.co.uk/Learning-OpenGL-iOS-Hands--Program...- a book on OpenGL in the context of iOS, but using 2.0 + the book is quite old, released in 2012, so far, probably the best choice to start with.
There are also various videos and text courses, but they are mostly dry theory, which gets boring after an hour.
Can you recommend books / video courses where there is a lot of practice, preferably in the context of iOS and where the level varies from beginner to understanding.
