RFID 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz?

I am interested in such a question, if I have a 125 kHz rfid reader, can I read a 13.56 MHz card? And vice versa, if I have a 125 kHz reader and a 13.56 MHz card?
Thanks in advance.

No, and not only the frequency matters, but also the format. For example, an EM-Marin format reader will only read EM-Marin IDs , and will not read HID format ( ProxCard II ) for example. Despite the fact that both formats operate at a frequency of 125 kHz.
There are multi-format readers that allow you to read several formats, maybe they will suit you.
